We’re not a wellness hotel, but nevertheless we can provide a bit of wellness during your holiday. Close your eyes. Experience gentle touch. And feel how tensions simply melt away. That just feels so good.

Relaxation expert Monika Albina Frey comes to us at our hotel and can provide therapy for you, by appointment, in our well-being massage studio. Her so-called restorative vitality massages are her speciality. These ensure wonderful relaxation and they rebalance the energy in the body. But she can also provide pedicures and manicures. After the wellness treatments, you can continue to unwind on the sun loungers in the guest garden.

That’s what we like to have, too. Swim and relax in the baths & thermal spas in the Chiemgau region. Just let yourself drift and think of nothing. There are several thermal baths and adventure pools with sauna facilities only about 25-30 minutes away:

The impression is not a deceptive one - nature in the Chiemgau region grounds you. Appreciate the ground on the paths. Sit on the grass and let your eyes wander. This allows us to calm down - it’s beneficial for the mind. And a form of wellness.

Our favourite places to go for a swim in the countryside? We have several lakes in the region - though it can be bracing even in the summer

we like the Reifinger See Lake, in Grassau, with its sunbathing lawn, toddler area, beach volleyball and lakeside restaurant. Just 800 m away and, therefore, naturally our favourite.
Wössner Lake, in Unterwössen, has a beach with a slide and non-swimmers' area as well as catering in the Seestüberl. Approx. 6 km away,
Lake Chiemsee: the closest bathing areas on Lake Chiemsee are in Bernau and in Übersee. Approx. 11 km away.
Übersee beach with lifeguard, large sandy beach, large sunbathing lawn, beach café and play and sports facilities.
In Bernau at the beach there is a sunbathing lawn, a playground by the water, kiosk as well as boat hire and water sports.
