May we show you the way to your destination? Our hotel is located between Lake Chiemsee and Bergen in the district of Traunstein. Alpine ambience and lakeside moments - here in this region we have both. Much can be reached quickly.

We are only 90 km from Munich and 60 km from Salzburg.

Only 1 km to the Reifinger See lake, 10 km to Lake Chiemsee and 2.5 km to the Hochplatten mountain cable car

Arriving by car

From Munich

If you are travelling on the A 8 Munich motorway towards Salzburg then take the Bernau am Chiemsee exit.
Enter the roundabout and turn off at the 2nd exit on the right and continue in the direction of Marquartstein.
You’ll drive through the villages of Bernau and Rottau.
In the subsequent village of Grassau, the road you’ll be on leads to a roundabout. Enter the roundabout and leave it again on the opposite side in the direction of Marquartstein.
Stay on this road and do not turn off again. After approx. 1 km, the Weßner Hof will be on the right-hand side.

From Salzburg

If you are driving on the A 8 motorway Salzburg towards Munich then take the Grabenstätt exit.
Turn right in the direction of Reit im Winkl / Marquartstein.
Stay on this main road.
After approx. 10 km, you will reach a roundabout at the entrance to Grassau. Enter the roundabout and leave it again on the opposite side (get in the lane for Marquartstein). Continue on the main road for approx. 1 km.
At the small traffic island, turn right into the Pettendorf district. Continue straight on and after approx. 200 metres you’ll be heading directly towards the Weßner Hof.

Parking at the Weßner Hof

Parking spaces for cars and motorbikes as well as storage facilities for bicycles are available free of charge right by the hotel.
You can rent a garage parking space from us for a fee of € 5 per day.

Arrive by e-car

The Weßner Hof has a charging station for electric cars. The charging station can be activated on request at the reception desk and the costs booked to the room.

Arriving by train

Take the train to the Chiemgau region. The Munich to Salzburg train stops at Übersee (8 km from Marquartstein), Bernau am Chiemsee (10 km), Prien am Chiemsee (15 km) and in Traunstein (25 km).

By prior arrangement, we can pick you up from the train station, or we can help you to organise a taxi to pick you up and bring you to the hotel. You can also take a bus from the train station at which you arrive: The RVO bus lines 9505 or 9509 go to Marquartstein.
